Jewish musicians in Iran, Iranian musicians in Israel

Tuesday 18 February 2025, 7:30 pm UK. What did it mean to be a Jewish musician in Iran, and what does it mean to be Iranian in Israel?
Jewish musicians have played a prominent role in Iran, whether as masters of Iranian classical music or as ensemble players in regional communities. How did Iranian-Jewish repertoires survive and change in Israel, and how do musicians from Iran define their identities ?
