Pax Arabica
Tuesday 12 May 2026, 7:30 pm UK. Pax Arabica is a new book looking into what the author, Daniel Clarke-Serret, calls the Arab Empire: What is the nature of this ‘colonial’ empire with its Palestinian vanguard, its dictatorial fragility, the oppression and expulsion of its minorities, its denial of national self-determination? How did Arabs turn to Islamism as an escape from imperial oppression?
Daniel Clarke-Serret is a Senior Fellow of the Liberal Democratic think tank, a UK barrister, a school teacher, linguist, an award-winning poet and a prolific writer on his geopolitical Substack “Guerre and Shalom”.
