Jews have lived in Central Asia for over 2,500 years. Many believe they are descended from the Lost Tribes. Why they did they go there? Where are they now? We will take a look at their lives and culture over the centuries. The talk will be based upon a study tour the lecturer took to Uzbekistan and the area a few years ago, plus research into the lives and activities of long-distance merchant Jews.
