The Farhis of Damascus

26 January 2021 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Tuesday 26 January 2021. 7:30 pm UK.

Migrating from 13th century France, the Farhi family had, by the 20th century, settled all over the Levant. In Damascus they were called ‘the real rulers of Syria’ and in the 18th century included the illustrious Haim Farhi, whose murder was avenged by his brothers. Their descendant Alain Farhi will tell the dynasty’s remarkable story.
