2 February 2021 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Tuesday 2 February, 7:30 pm UK time.

In 1917, Baghdad-born Joseph Smouha visited Alexandria, Egypt and spotted the potential for development in the marshland flanking the city. The result was the Smouha garden City. Richard Smouha, Joseph’s grandson, will tell the remarkable story of how Smouha City was built – and lost.
