A mini-Purim, or Second Purim, is a celebratory day uniquely observed by a particular Jewish community or individual family to commemorate the anniversary of its deliverance from destruction, catastrophe, or an antisemitic ruler or threat.As we approach the festival of Purim 2021, Lyn Julius will tell the stories of Mini-Purims in the Sephardi World, from Algiers and Cairo to Djerba and Tiberias.
