French Jews in London: who are they, why are they here and what will happen to them after BREXIT?

26 April 2017 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Wednesday 26 April 2017 – 8pm

With its half-a-million French residents, London is known as the fifth French city. In the last decades, thousands of Jews have settled in the UK from France and Sephardi Minyanim are popping up to cater for their needs. Who are they? What made them come here? And what will happen to them after the UK leaves the EU? Harif Creative Director Michelle Huberman  has an intimate knowledge of this topic, having worked for several years in Le Sentier, Paris’s garment district. Her talk promises to be both lively and informative. Spiro Ark/ Harif, HGSS. Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagogue, Norrice Lea, London N2 0RE. Book online 10 pounds or telephone 0207 794 4655 or email info@harif.org.
